Work of children and minors
CP Glass S.A. does not hire children nor minors. We also exclude contacts with any entities that do not comply with such rules. At the same time we make efforts to enable young people and junior employees to commence their professional career at our company. CP Glass S.A. cooperates with vocational schools and universities and enables students to undergo internship. We encourage our employees to continue educating and we create suitable work conditions for such purpose.
Heath and Safety
CP Glass S.A. provides safe and friendly work environment. We make every effort to avoid risks that can be faced at work by our employees in our branch of industry. Within the years 2005 – 2007 we equipped work stands at Orzesze Glassworks with many facilities and safety devices including sound absorbing cabins in a manufacturing part, air conditioners in rooms where temperature was high, etc. Work conditions are permanently monitored by the persons appointed for such purpose and the results are audited by an independent outside entity.
Consultations with employees
Decisions made at CP Glass S.A. and concerning the employees are always consulted with trade unions and employees’ representatives. While implementing new regulations regarding wages or work conditions, applicable regulations are always observed. There are several trade unions at CP Glass S.A. and the employer respects employees’ right to organize unions.
Involvement in the life of local communities
CP Glass S.A. supports and participates in activities of local communities that are aimed to actively support economic, social and educational development and progress in the protection of natural environment. Such support is a manifestation of the Company’s involvement in the development of local communities where it conducts its business.
CP Glass S.A.. is one of the founders and members of the Council of the Health Promotion Foundation, a public benefit organization that supports the treatment and rehabilitation of people in difficult financial situation, institutional care and children’s homes. Via the Foundation CP Glass S.A. indirectly participates in initiatives that are to help any persons in need and implements the rule of corporate social responsibility.
In order to promote physical culture and sport CP Glass S.A. organizes annual football tournament in Brzesko where CP Glass S.A. employees and employees from cooperating companies together with their families and friends take part.
Since 2007 CP Glass S.A. „Orzesze” Glassworks Branch has been supporting an anglers’ circle. An agreement has been made to co-finance the stocking of local reservoirs.
Our company observes high ethical standards and fairness norms in business. We support efforts made by central and local authorities aimed at creating and implementing high ethical standards applicable in all spheres in business activity. We comply with the rules of transparency in activity, not only in our relations with administrative bodies, but also with our business partners. Moreover CP Glass S.A.. protects personal data of employees and job applicants by ensuring their confidentiality and processing only within the extent allowed by such persons.
